T12 ran a ‘sweet in a jar competition’ to raise money for charity. The winner was announced on Monday the 9th March; tickets were 20p each and we raised an amazing £41, the winning ticket was number 136.
The
competition was to raise money for Douglas Macmillan and we also put about £10 towards the fund to put a
bucket of ice cold water on our teacher’s head (Mr Morray).
The
idea of ‘sweets in the jar’ was a member of our form, Molly. Everyone said ok
so we went with the idea; our form tutor Mrs. Unwin bought all the sweets for
this competition.
